yea you are more west than the bays that they catch gills and crappies i was on lake erie ice fishing a few years back when things went bad that day we made fox news ")

Tinknocker I never thought of Lake Erie as a gill lake. Walleyes and smallies and perch it don't get much better. Although in my younger days which was many moons ago we did catch some gills but nothing to brag about. I do hear about some of the bays that give up some good fish but that is in the Sandusky area and its easier for me to load the boat up and head ti Mi it is much closer. Hey you ever want to talk about fishing my door is always open. GOOD FISHIN.....

i  live in Belmont county Dick right on the WV border i have 6 pretty good panfish lakes close 1 10 minutes away now i have caught some 9" from time to time but mostly 7" to 8" are pretty much the norms man you have lake erie thats a great gill lake

Tinknocker do you have a favorite place to fish, now be careful I do live in Ohio but unfortunately 95 percent of my fishing is in Mich because we don't have much in the way of lakes here in the Toledo area and Mich is just a couple miles down the road.
