Thanks Dick , and its such a cool thing to discover smallies in this water I 've fished before for Trout, Bluegills and RBS.

Wow that's one I haven't done but hoping one day I can make it happen, we have great smallie waters here with everything draining into Lake Erie. I know it had to be a blast cause they don't quit. CONGRATS John..

Despite it looking like a split shot near the upper lip , this was my first Fly rod Smallie .A small stream Jumper and Bulldogger .Flopped like a Trout!
