Shotting a Floating Rapala is catching a few fish and getting several follow ups and swipes in 50 degree Water. Lift and drop to bottom . Perch are coming up off bottom for it . Shot at 6-8" from lure and it works .Put the shot closer and it's ineffective .

David I use to never do well on Perch patterned lures and my brother said the same thing but lately I've been having better success. It makes sense that these patterns are stocked in the bait stores up here in NENJ because they lakes are full of Perch .Crappie and Yellow Perch are the ones that seem to like this little guy .
