Good point about oxygen and I have been shore fishing more than boat fishing . Gonna have to get out to the aerators in a boat soon . The fish today had a little flow coming from an inlet pipe .

I think as long as the water level is high enough the fish will go to were they have to go to survive. I'm sure the larger fish will be were the oxygen is which may be in the deeper water. A small fish uses much less oxygen than a larger fish that's why when you see a fish kill your larger fish dye off 1st. I'm guessing the fish are there John just in deeper water, now I'm talking lake now Streams is another story cause a moving stream makes it own oxygen running over rocks and boulders and even downed trees. Movement of the water in a stream is crucial to making its own oxygen.

Yes Dick The Perch and Gills were there today. Getting small fish though . The lake was lowered last year quite a bit for community members to do repairs on docks and I wonder how that it affected the fishing .Any ideas?

I'd say he was one hungry perch for sure.
