A couple seasons back I tinkered around making my own, "Micro Slider" jig hooks. You may recall my experiments, which as a whole, were successful.

But, I hadn't considered tying a dressing on them. I just used various twist-tail grub bodies, albeit very small one. The aim has always been to remain weedless with these, so they can be dragged through the thickest cover.

But making them into a dressed jig has promise....

Yes ,chilly too, fingers got cold ,only fished 2 hrs. ...9 fish

Yes the bite today on my hotspot dropped off considerably but the two Bass were a surprise! .Supposed to get warmer so I gotta stay on this area when the wind is from the north .
