Hey Jim, we can talk about new guides on your old wonderod if you like. No charge to work on it only materials, new guides would cost  you  $  8-10 and shipping to me both ways.

 If you are interested call 815-539-6596 anytime , except this spring!! I've got about a month before I hit the fishing heavy and can do this work in one day.

Hey Jim, New guides are easy! The spinning rods , alot of em anyway, had the same soft action as the spincast models. Quite a departure from todays fffffffffast action Graphite I might say. LOts of folks when the thead is worn out of guides bad they just throw em away, what a waste because they can't be replaced by anything new of the same action.

i've got an old shakespeare spincast wonderod that i still use. nice action for lobbing live bait and float. about time for new guides.

Yep it was either June or early July on a foam spider, orange in color which was the first pattern I ever tied. Stll a top producer with a fly rod.
