I must say... I bought the fly at bass pro! lol... But I definitely have to learn to tie them! I go through about 10 - 12 a season

Looks like I need to tie some Damselfly patterns.  I've been wondering why my usual Hopper-Dropper hasn't been working.

I'm finding this time of year, damselflies and their nymph patterns outfish any other fly I'd normally use.

THe fly was a blue damselfly imitations.. I noticed they were mating all over the pond and the fish were tracking them from below the surface in hopes one would fall in the water, so I tied one on, and they'd smash it every cast!  As the term goes "Match the Hatch" ;)
