I was thinking some of those tires looked huge......

Great cover no doubt.

These tires are huge - think they 8' or 10' across - came off the earthmovers they used to build the dam. Kinda of eerie when you come up on them. There's a couple more that I didn't take pictures of. Probably catch some grief for posting these...

Not sure if it's legal Allen but don't think I would noodle at LP. Me and Big Ant rolled up on some monster cats by a sunk boat back in the east end,  last fall. Thought they were huge carp at first  - then two turned around and faced us. Scary - they looked at us like we owed them money. Biggest cats I've ever seen - we left - didn't want no part of that!!!!

Michelin tires??   a wood box is a lot better;; with a opening at one end;; set; close to a drop off;;  open end-- facing down stream!!    noodlers logic!!

Comment by Allen Morgan on May 14, 2014 at 6:58pm

Is "noodling" allowed out there in CA???  That looks like a perfect place for catfish to lay eggs.  Lots of times, Noodlers will place objects that cats will nest in, and make milk-runs on these objects, grab the fish, and go.
