Do you love big bluegill?
As things begin to warm in the weeks ahead......gills will stage off areas similar to this in preparation for the nesting season beginning in the spring.....Signs of trees native to a water habitat is the wide trunk for better anchoring....I pound these areas with tremendous success with multiple freshwater species,,,,,,In this photo you can clearly see the results of a prevailing Northeast Wind which has pushed the river water into the sounds......In all cases in my region, the fishing is better on high water especially if you time the wind right and catch the water returning....Fish on!
