Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Two decent fliers hit cricket tipped jigs near bottom in eight feet of water....they often follow a migration similar to that of Black Crappie here in our brackish waters.....

No worries Dick.....I can always get folks on trophy Fliers....we are fortunate to have an abundance of these guys in our coastal waters.....if you ever make it down, we'll get it knocked off your bucket list......

Fliers are to Spring as Pecan trees are......they are a much better indicator than the groundhog.....LOL......We are within two to three weeks of catching Crappie and the early Sunfish shallow......got a few more ups and downs with the weather but the most important factor will be milder nights and sunshine as the days begin to get longer...
