Helen's Birthday is this Friday and she won't take me fishing....she is insisting on going crabbing instead....I don;t think it's fair since I haven't fished in close to 24 hours......Looking forward to it and we've been waiting a long time for Helen to turn 21.....LOL

Back when I was a youngun, my Dad would take me to a spot we called "the canals". It's somewhere in the Tidewater area of Virginia. We would catch lots of sunfish. Every now and then we would catch an eel, which was always interesting to get off the hook. Sometimes, we'd have a blue crab on the line.
My Dad never tried to use the eel as catfish bait, and we never kept the crabs. Don't know why...........
