Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Mr. Postman was good to me today. The reel selection dilemma has been resolved....

Now all I need is a new rod........

I have all of there reels, i use more of the cheaper one's cause they are the best reel for the money by a long shot. But my new baby is that Supreme XT

Chris good answer. I started out with Pfluegers cheepo's and for the money they were good reels. I have upgraded but still use the cheepo's on occasion. For the money they are good reels. My only fault with them is there not made in the US

I have to agree with you Dick, i have the Supreme XT and it is smooth as glass. i'm 100% into all of the Pflugger reels. I have reeled in 10lb stripers, 8 pound bass and all in between all on my 2lb florocarbon

Will do Tony but you will like the Supreme I have two of them and they are as smooth as glass.

That was my problem too Dick... I couldn't find an Arbor. Would've loved to get my hands on one though. Let me know what you think when you get yours, please!

I guess if I'd of read your whole post you tell me what it is. I will have me a new Pfluger arbor soon. Bass pro don't have them at least not yet.

It's a Supreme 8230. I handled many, many reels before settling on this one. In my opinion it was simply the best reel in its price range. I do love Pflueger, but I was determined to judge all the reels independently of one another, and not choose solely on the basis of name. In the end, it was the ten bearings that sold me. This thing is butter smooth.
