Nice smallie Ken . I see you live close to my old fishing grounds. They are a little northeast of you Haven't been for a long time many great hours on the water up there I really miss it.

I think the eyelets and hooks rust too easily so watch for that too

Always liked Kalin grubs and Jigs .Yes and check the sharpness of the hook on these ,still not so sure I'll continue to buy them .

John this is the first time I'm using these brand of jigs I usually use Kalins's. they look cheaper all the eyelets have to be cleaned

Not to confident with the Danielson label every since I had a temp gauge that fell apart immediately ,that company's been on my suspect list .I have used and caught fish with the Danielson jigs though .

Good to know ,thanks Ken!

Kalins is the usual brand , but they are thin wire... and have caught smallies up to 5lbs with them. the 20lb braid allows me to do this. ive pulled up a chrismas tree one time with a similar rig. lol

had to drive to the bait store to refresh my supply.

Sounds like a great outfit! What brand of Jig head/ hook are you using that you can straighten  the hook and pull free ?
