Joubertina is indeed out there a ways, isnt it? I see it is the "tourism" center for the region.
It is quite comfortable, no chaffing. Also it was made from what I could get in our remote village and it was cheap, very important to me!
I'm afraid that I'm a little too far from any fishing spots -esp given traffic in my neck of the woods.
It would be a great ga$ saver & excellent exercise.
Nice improv on the rod holder though.
That's a heck of an interesting ride. Must be chaffing your inner left thigh quite a bit. Why not invest in a pack rack in the back for $15, and angle mount it toward the rear, providing upwards rod and cycling stability? I feel as if you're trying to make a statement of, "Muahaahahah..RAMMING SPEED!!"
I like the rod tube, Mathew. Good improv there.
Until two years ago, I rode my road bike to work and back, about 20 miles round trip. If it was ugly weather or I had some appointment, I would leave the bike at home. But most weeks I managed 2-3 commutes. Considering I was in my mid fifties at the time, I saw it as something of an accomplishment.
Now that Ive moved 26 miles from work a fifty mile commute is a bit of a stretch! But yeah, a bike makes a great fishing vehicle.
oh yea-- this brings back memories!! use to ride my bike to go fishing to!! but its always better to go DOWN HILL!!!! LOL
Yessir Ive done it. I ride a Specialized "Hard Rock" That Ive fit out for street and trail. Ive ridden to many a fishing hole. When I was a kid it was a long ride - but I did it.
THIS IS DEDICATION HERE FOLKS !!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU OUTRUN A LION ON THIS MOUNTAIN BIKE MATHEW ? OR A CAPE BUFFALO OR SOME SUCH CREATURE !!!!!!!!!
