Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

One of my favorite medium action reels...I have 10 and 12 pound test on my six Rhinos for fishing Crappie and Channel Cat in heavy river cover....

I'll be the first to tell you that pictures, price and brand makers don't make the best reel...Ninety percent of the time I have purchased (1) reel of a specific type and put it in action to see if it works for me.....If I like the reel,  I head to the store and purchase more.....I personally like at least three spincasting rigs ready to go when I head out.....The fish don't care and the important thing is you fishing without compromise.......That makes fishing the enjoyable activity that we relish.......

Jeff, Really found out about good drag systems on friday. I landed a 7lb cat on ul rod, use 2lb line. Was using a pflueger president. I had just bought reel a couple days before. Also found out difference between cheap and good spinning reel, I can cast this one, with no problems. In short I love this reel.

I bought my first Rhino about six years ago and I've been pleased.......I really like the drag on these reels which help with the larger fish like Catfish and Bowfin....Gives you a chance to land most fish!

I have been thinking of one of these for a catfishing rig. I will take your word on them being good reels

I just got one of these the other day. My son dredged it up somewhere. Ive already had it apart, cleaned and lubed. It's pretty nice to my eye. Im looking forward to using it. I have it on a Shakespeare Medium action casting rod. I was thinking of using it with 8 lb test.
