Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Fished the reefs - bass, REs, CCs and BGs are still on the chew.
CCs (19.5" & 20.5") were caught on a 1/48th chub jig & cricket combo and the other one was caught on a 1/32nd green Auto & cricket combo. Was using Izorline XXT 2lb test.

AP - it's not a sting, more like a jab. The dorsal and the pectorial fins can really stick you and they can have some bad microbs on them also. Be very careful with the kitties - could punch a hole in the tube or the leg.

Was down on the reefs with Big Jim  - saw you guys - and we both picked up 20" CCs. BTW bigger BG males are down by the reefs. Jim got four 10" in a row on the jig cricket combo. Been throwing chubs and autos.

I wonder what am going to do if I catch one on the tube, probably pull me around. Can these guys sting you with their fin? hate to get nailed in the leg.
