Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

2 lb., 4 ounce bluegill caught in Nebraska. This huge bluegill was one of several two pounders caught in Nebraska at Pelican Lake over a three year period in the mid-nineties.

Great fish from a great body of water!

Hm..I don't think camping gears and a month worth of free time is enough. Has anyone here successfully achieve teleportation without turning into "The Fly" character? We need to spend at least a season there, in a cottage, hitting the waters at least 10 hours a day, for 6 months straight.

Greg, amen brother. We need to have a float tube armada to come the waters to make sure we haul those beauties out of the depths.

Indeed, we all want to know what Pelican is producing as of late, as we know that it was once one of the top public trophy bluegill lakes at one time. Most of the giants I believe were caught through the ice. Bruce, what's the recent story, or perhaps we should check with Dave Willis...?

LEO, We might ought to take the FLOAT TUBES to here!!!!!!

Woah! Who ever the proud catcher of those big-uns must be smiling from side to side without stopping.
