Any fish that eats grasshopper would eat that bug up. Foam bugs are super fun to tie and proven fish magnets. I always fish a hopper when the waters still warm.

I tie something very similar sorta a morphidite Chernoble Ant type bug, I like tying foam bugs n stuff.....they sure catch fish, you've probably seen one hanging out of one of my pictured fishs mouths.
