Thanks, guys! Wish I had better pictures. I left my phone in the cabin and let one of my kids have a few minutes of 4G while I went to the pond with another. Used his cell to take pictures. After taking the picture, I laid it down on the Plano storage box I had with me and it was almost exact length with just a tiny fraction of an inch hanging over. I measured the box later and it looked to be about 9". I just checked the specs:

and  it is actually 9.13", so I actually shorted myself ever so slightly but it is absolutely short of 10", which is what a certification requires. A good fish though. I was surprised at how it fought; 3/4 of the way in I was thinking < 6" and then it woke up and fought pretty hard the rest of the way.

Nice seed anywhere Andy!.......We had snow flurries in the Albemarle region today.......crazy!
