Thanks Mark.
great looking rig Tim, always been impressed with the quality of the Stratos boats two of my friends have them and I always look forward to an outing with them.
And I don't pay fees for the tube. All human powered craft are gratis in SC.
Put it in the bed of the truck, take off, be at the launch spot in under 15 minutes. NO boat congestion, no waiting at the ramp (to launch OR retrieve), etc.
The thing runs on a handful of oatmeal and a banana, maybe a boiled egg. When I want to go ashore, just row over and get out. Take a leak, stretch and it makes a dandy napping chair under shady trees.
Yeah, it could be worse, I suppose.
nice rig timothy
I did buy me a nice Reddington Flyrod last year. I hope my wife don't find out I paid $200 bucks for it! I took the rod to an Orvis shop here and they fitted it with a Gray real, correct line and nice leader. I am quite new to fly fishing so I am having a difficult time setting the hook on strikes. : \
That's a nice way to fish though David. I see barge traffic. I have one footisis. Seems like every few years I add another foot to by boats. I do miss my aluminum Sea Nymph (25 hp) and I had a Sea Ark that had a 40 Johnson 4 stroke. It was nice. This boat is really steady and most people take me for a Bass addict. I got um fooled. I keep a bass rod handy with a rubber worm. (would not want to give up my honey hole in case they might me packing a Zebco or something more lethal like a Fly Rod!!)
NICE LOOKING RIG TIM !!!!!!!!! GO GET EM .........
Nice pan fish outfit to say the least. Personally fishing from a bass boat brings a whole new meaning to comfort and conveniences. Every Jon boat I ever converted I always done it with a bass boat in mind so over the years I can tell you the improvement have grown leaps and bounds. Now I have a Hydrasport Bass Boat and loving it when I can get it out on the water. Enjoy Timothy as I know you will.
