Carl has a great idea , and I'd like to do that too. We just plain have too much ice and the baits don't get near the liquid stuff........

My favorite words around the kitchen....."fish fry"......looking forward to some tender crappie fillets in the coming weeks.......another favorite for me and that saves a few gills along the way!

Worked up is an under statement for me.....they talk of "buck fever"....."channel fever" when returning from a ship deployment in the Navy......"cabin fever" for obvious reasons and for me there is such a thing as "bluegill fever" and I get it bad every year leading into spring.......I use it as a positive and convert the energy into things I need to get done but man I can't wait.......
