Eagle 230C powered by a little 12v 7amp battery in the side pocket. I have another finder just like it and hope to do a tutorial very soon on rigging it portable. This one will go on my Fish Cat#4. Quality finders are good for ME in the deeper waters to know bottom structure and depth. Only my opinion of course.
I won't need it today in the 4' of water in the local canal. lol
Thanks for the kind comments. My fins are the cheap Outcast ones that have a single strap over the top of the boot. The newer model has a retainer strap at the back in case one comes loose. I cut mine off as the fins float, and haven't lost one yet. VERY seldom the right one gets a bit loose and I just lift my boot and tighten it again. I always wear a wading shoe even with shorts so I can walk where I want.
Wish all good times on the water ole Mike
