yep. i agree. last year i caught 2 more certificate sized fish over 9" on this lake that looked to some degree as this. DNR would accept them as p'seeds to ease classification and because they look so close... but i already had one for the year.
many michigan lakes p'seeds are tainted with some amount of b'gill genetics.

Nice fish. Looks like he may be a pumpkingill. He has similar colors and patterns to the p-gills I catch.
