YEA JOHN;; THIS IS THE ONE I TOLD YOU ABOUT !!  CAREFUL THO;; IVE FOUND OUT;; ON SOME CRANKBAITS;; BY ADDING A DROPPER BEHIND IT;; GREATLY AFFECTS THE CRANKBAIT ITS SELF !!

Hey Carl! Here's Jim's blog : http://bigbluegill.com/profiles/blogs/tail-gunner-tactics-for-gills     Gotta try this out this year .A 6-10" length to a dropper Fly .Maybe I'll try it on a few different cranks to see which ones get the best attention .

Only you would know about musical metronomes.

Probably right Dick but I was happy  to see follow ups on this one telling me they were chasing finnally instead of just taking slip floated baits or deadsticked stuff . A tempo indicator like a musical metronome.

Maybe a smaller minnow shaped crank would work better for you.

JOHN;; THIS IS A IDEA FROM JIM GRONAW;S BLOG;; ON TAILGUNNING HE CALLS IT.  HE SUGGESTED; REMOVING THE REAR HOOK;; THEN TYING ON THE DROPPER JIG;; ABOUT 6 INCHES I THINK HE SAID.  CHECK OUT HIS BLOG POST ON IT !!  GOOD LUCK TO YA !!

No how long a dropper do you use to prevent tangles Carl?\

HAVE YOU TRIED;; TYING A JIG ON; BEHIND THE CRANKBAIT ??  MIGHT WORK ???   EITHER WAY;;  LOOKS LIKE YO UGOT THEM FIGURED OUT !
