I'd tend to agree with you. Keep in mind that hybrids aren't always 50/50. Ya never know--it could be 75/25. Definitely a good lookin' fish!

I am not sure myself, to me their color is just slightly different than a green sunfish but that just might be from the size of these fish that makes me question what they are, i have caught some green sunfish there about 5 inches, clearly greenies.

I'm trying to figure out if that fish is pure green sunfish, or if it has some bluegill genetics. That would explain the agressive nature of these fish.

Most the fish in these new photos are over 8 inches, i did see bigger fish in the water, bigger than i have ever caught, but these fish were much more aggressive and wouldnt let the bait drop down to the bigger ones. I will get them tomorrow. maybe
