Do you love big bluegill?

I agree, Tony - the coloration is of a pure-strain bluegill, most likely a coppernose. Bryan, do you have any photos of the fish? I'm wondering if it was actually a coppernose rather than a Georgia Giant and the client was just confused. I know that I've seen people on other fishing forums incorrectly assume that a very large bluegill that someone had posted a photo of was a Georgia Giant when it actuality it was a pure-strain.
Beautiful paint job.....the coloration appears different than the Georgia Giants I am used to seeing...nice catch!
Would love to have caught that fish and felt the pull ! Fantastic! Yes Jim ,looks like an expert replica!
Jim, Yes thats a 5 gallon home depot bucket.
Its a replica of a georgia giant hybrid. It weighed 3 1/2 lbs and was close to 14", Very good guess!
I have one thats 13" and 3 lbs also.
ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW !!!!!!!! WISH IT WAS ON MY WALL !
Beautiful!
Nice mount...I assume a replica from a giant of the past. If that is indeed a 5 gallon bucket then the fish is about 14 inches long. Yes, Walt and I must know...how big?
Is that a 5 gallon bucket? Wow!! That's a monster!
Good grief, that is a monster! What were the specs, Bryan (length and weight)?
