Guys ,I am so fortunate to have these fish within minutes from me .Putting a 10 ' boat in the Truck bed and going for a few hours and getting into these fish three times now has been a blast . The hands got real cold this time so I'm gonna have to prepare for the increasingly colder weather and use better gloves. The felt lined jeans and thick socks and several sweatshirts are being utilized now and helping out .  I read an account from Bill Dance's book on Crappie and he describes exactly what I'm experiencing with theses Bluff Crappie and their Vertical movements . It's uncanny !

Thanks Jeffrey , November is the month up here when I find Crappie the easiest .It's my target fish now  but I hope to locate some good Perch numbers as well at this location .I'm thinking if I fish a little heavier shot and perhaps keep it down near bottom I'll get on them . Gotta get the depth finder out there and the 14" boat with a partner .
