One of Jim Gronaw's 1/64 ounce Grass Shrimp patterns
I caught several gills and a lot of Fliers on this combination today.....I did better on live shrimp than tipping with wigglers......

Sometimes we try to out smart nature Tooty and keeping it simple works great.....This simple red filament jig has been great for me since Jim Gronaw sent me a few last year. Very durable and works on multiple species! California gillers have been employing similar jigs in various colors with great success.....A jig like this with hot pink filaments might out fish them all.....Crazy to think!
