I near Houston Texas. Been in the mid 80's it'll be awhile before weather has much to do with my pond. There been year where they don't die off down here at all. Sharon I'm down about 2 to 3ft too. Pond still about 5 to 6ft deep, but really need some rain.

How far down is your pond? Ours was down 4' when we started pumping from the creek.

If I don't get some rain soon it might not make a diffrents But depending on how our winter goes might be more fish then I want to think about

tilpia they lay egg every 3 to 4 weeks.
