hmm , i'd have to cut them down if I used those .
After seeing the bait rig floats you bought, I thought of the ice fishing floats I have that come with toothpicks. I may try the smallest I have.
another solution might be pegging with a toothpick piece
Ya know John I have been unable to find a description of it's use by searching the net . Haven't tried yet but I am thinking of blocking them from the hook with two rubber float stops .1)Thread float stop2)thread float3)thread 2nd float stop 4)tie on small Bluegill hook #6 8 or 10 attach bait 5)pinch on shot above float .
The float can be positioned away from hook by moving the float stops up or down the line and varying distances from the hook .
This seems like a lot of threading and beads might be necessary also ,what a pain! .Pinching # 2 and 4 hook bends I have been using closer on the Mr Twister jigheads works so I don't know if I 'm gonna put up with rigging this bait rig float but I always like trying something new .BTW , a correction from last info I've mentioned; I don't have #6 twister Jigheads , just 4 and 2 .I was wrong on the size .
John, I saw the photo of the small floats, I am curious as to how you will rig them with a small hook, if you don't mind sharing after you have tried them.
beautiful b.gill... what a mouthful
Thanks Jeffrey
