2 pound 10 ounce - 12 3/4 inch Bluegill, and look at the smile on that guy's face!

Hello,
I didn't know bluegills grew so large! You folks have your act together. I read the article in In-Fisherman and was thrilled to see a forum for bluegills. Many times while fishing for rainbows at night with bait I would catch 'gills a little larger than my hand can get around. What I'd like to do is learn how to catch them during the daytime on jigs and other artificial lures. My Res. is 2,000 acres with deep gin clear water with 25' visibility. For the next few weeks I'll be in between boats, need to sell the old one while waiting for the new one. So, I hope to make new friends and share new knowledge. I hope I posted this in the right place.
