I was gonna say, that bug looks AWFULLY familiar..... :)  Then I read the posts below.

Chris, be sure and post up what you catch with that pattern this Spring/Summer.

chris i tie a foam blue damsel,very common in my area.i use twisted mylar for the wings also.really gives it a struggeling bug look on the water.with the marabou that fly is really gonna come to life

Thanks guys! I was actually inspired to tie this one after learning how to tie the damsel fly nymphs, since I have seen a lot of green dragonflies in the area.

Looks good Chris.....we catch hundreds of green darners in the summer and they get crushed.......Millions inhabit the coastal marsh during the spring and summer......the fluttering wings attract all species......
