Patience guys. I've got a full time..ok overtime job. And Ketona isn't exactly in my line of fire most days..I was close today, but had deadlines to meet. I may drive up tomorrow afternoon and get a better idea! At the least I'll have you a picture or two!

When you say sit on the edge of your seat for news about Ketona, I obey. I have company.

Hey Ya'll, I found out something interesting about the 'owner' of Ketona lakes this evening...but I'm gonna let you guys stay on the edge of your seats until I get it confirmed.

Jim, it didn't pop up because I was supposed to dig for it so I could fnd out the truth about fly fishermen. That was your unintentional gift to me. Or was it a present? Hmmm!

Anyway. live bait rules, even with the sneaky fake baiters. Article said so.

I actually talked to Mr. Bignami about 5-6 years ago regarding his article. I've got the book that the article was published in as well as copies of the Outdoor Life. Mom was a pack rat...what can I say. And like mother like daughter.

This is unreal. I was cleaning up my e-mail in box, deleting most and saving the important stuff I wanted to keep in other folders. Near the bottom of a long list of bill reminders, I had e-mailed myself this article. Jim must have posted it awhile back too because I would never have been on a flyfishing page otherwise. When I got down to my Bigbluegill folder to check incoming, I saw where it had been reposted on Bigbluegill.com. The terms for such weird co-instances are synchronicity wrapped in serendipity. I think that means this article was an unsought gift I was meant to find. But when I clicked on Jim's link, it said page not found! Hmmph! Time to dig worms. There was a gift somewhere around there for me. I just had to dig. Well, the first tab I clicked on was Fishing Humor. I know this story isn't funny, but I already read it in my own long lost e-mail this morning. I was looking for my serendipity thingy. I found it too! Seems like a lot of fly fishermen are really closet bait fishermen according to some of the articles on this site. Well, well! Who cares? Not me. The difference in a gift and a present is a gift is something you give someone that you know they want (like, they asked for it) and a present is something you give someone that you want them to have (like, they been askin' fer it, so I let 'em have it!). Well, I guess everything got synchronized and I got what I been asking for, a revelation about bait fishers and those that wish they were. I guess it's appropriate in this thread, because the two world record fish we are talking about were caught on LIVE BAIT! Anyway, I finally dug up the article on the site. If Jim's link doesn't work, try this. It's got a little rec (RECORD) at the end.
