The baits are not weighted but I did have a small split shot in line for precise casting .........

Thanks David....Absolutely......today I witnessed several fish rush the bait from several feet away as you often can when fishing shallow water........lots of takes on the splash down when casting.......small bass kept crushing the pattern I used today........
