Dandy rock bass. We have a river here in Ohio which has a dam on it water is about 2' deep if it doesn't rain and there have been days we could catch 100 or more. Don't know if I would want them in my pond they are very aggressive and would be higher on the food chain than your gills. They are a blast to catch on ultra light and bite almost anything and they do make good table fare.

Rockbass, that is still on my list to catch.  Would have to have a handfull of them in my pond.

Thanks , even when the fishing is bad else where I can always count on these guy's biting and putting up a good fight. These guy's always go back to fight another day
