fished for about an hour

Fished for about with no luck. Could not figure out the problem. Picked up a bunch just a few days before.
Putting on a new rig, when a GIANT snapper turtle come up out of the water right in front of me. This beast was at least 3 feet long. This this scared the heck out of me. Once I saw him, I moved to a different location, and picked up 10 or 12 of gills.
New reel, Okuma si 10 and Yo- Zuri 2 pound hybrid
