Fall bluegilling continues to be outstanding in my regional lakes and ponds. This is one of 41 that I caught today on a 64 th oz hairjig tipped with Gulp! Redworm pieces.

That fish has a big eye. Was it from deep water? Love the coloring though.

Jen our water is running 62 to 64 F depending on where you go. We are calling for warm, 70 F and sunny for the next 5 days so we will likely see a jump in temperature. You would have destroyed them today with your fly rod efforts, as a hatch was obvious with lots of surface activity.
