Wow thanks Leo. I've got a fishcat tube, so the pics helped!

Jen, hope Jeff post his up so I can put it into a collective area as well. But in the mean time, here's my collective of rod and equipment holders from various floaters and tooners.

Bill-  Not sure right now, probably in the mid 50s.  This shot was taken in June.

Jen-  I rigged up a fishing rod holder out of plastic sprinkler pipes (PVA), which is really easy to work with.  I got tired of having my rods in the way all the time.  I'll post a pic later when I've got more time.  (It is 6:20 here on the west coast and I have to be at work at 7)

This is the ONLY way to fish!  Jeff, what is holding your rods straight up? That would be handy while getting in, putting fins on, etc

What is the surface temp in late January?

Comment by Israel Dunn on January 26, 2012 at 12:02am

That looks like a great place to spend the day, I use a float tube for musky fishing.  They are so peaceful, right up to the point when I almost get hit by a pleasure boater.
