Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Okay found out the things crawling out of their larval stage at stream side were Dragon flies . They breathe out of their anus when in Nymph stage ! A morsel of "must know' !

Honestly, John, I can't remember if the 'gills in that pond got hooked up.  Those are size 6 hooks, pretty big for a 'gill.  However, the hybrid sunnies and LMB's Olive Wooly Buggers.

How do Bluegills like them Allen? Now after yesterday , I know Trout love them !

This is the main reason why I always tie Olive Wooly Buggers with black bead chain eyes.  They look like Dragonfly nymphs, and they get INHALED!
