We use to do good in South Carolina with a similar bait called the cricket spin......had filament legs popped through the plastic tail.......was deadly on redbreasts.....

Great start to the season Jim.........We use to stop at a Seafood restaurant in Mariana when we traveled across the panhandle on summer vacations......I remember the alligator on the recipe........Can't remember the name of it and don't know if it's still open.......good memories!

Killer Bull ! Congrats on a fabulous first 2014 Gill! Hit the jig /spin I see ! One of my fav jigs for the spin is a jig I dress with a piece of squirrel tail and add a yellow  twister tail .
