Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

A Tribute to my Fishing Friend, Mr. Lynn…..10/5/2022

I met this gentleman and his family when we arrived in Elizabeth City, North Carolina some twenty years ago. His company built my house that I still call home today….one time in 2014 his daughter asked my wife if I would take her dad fishing….we took off on a beautiful May Day to Spice Island on the Pasquotank River, he was never the same again!…..Three personal bests including largemouth, bluegill and crappie and more than a hundred other fish, never mind what I caught before turning in to a dedicated bait and net man……Lynn turns 83 tomorrow and unfortunately his health has declined to the point that we cannot fish together….but these pictures help keep alive some great memories…..keep fighting Mr. Lynn! This is why I live for Faith, Family, Friends and Fishing…….

Here's a toast to you, Mr. Lynn. As all of us get older we do what our body allows. I hope you continue to find your joy. Faith, Family, Fishing, and Friends, this sums it up for me too.
