Thanks Carl......we have eaten good over the last month...I cleaned 40 small seeds last night for one of my favorite meals ever......I fry them up real crispy very fast......just a favorite past time in my family as we used to net small bluegill ( 1 to 2 inch) and head em', gut em' then fry them whole to finally eat the entire thing bones and all fried up crispy.....I can remember wash tubs with hundreds of these little fish on ice getting ready for the fry......

Bold creature to move into the shallow areas. Of course, it spells "F.U.N" for you.

Big Black Crappie numbers will be available in the shallows for roughly two to three more weeks on the Northern Albemarle Rivers......In most places, the big girls have already been in and are now replaced by the smaller egg layers.......a few stargglers will be caught through the middle of May......it has been alot of fun this Spring wrestling with the shallow Slab Crappie.........
