I'd love both to fish LP one day and who wouldn't want to fish with LedHed.....his knowledge of that lake and proven methods......the neat thing to watch is our waters are completely different yet the Coppernose have adapted successfully to both the deep lake environment and the shallow swamps here in North Carolina which is very common to this Florida native species........I'm glad to see them doing well in other regions since they are my personal favorite sunfish.......

Between you and LedHed, it's amazing to stare at these gorgeous specimen. I always wonder when you two will pair up and turn the waters (his and yours) up-side-down as you fish back to back.

Thanks Don.....I'm also excited about the forecast.....the most significant development this week is the milder nights so the water temperatures are not only warmer but more stable which is ultimately a slam dunk here in the black waters of the Albemarle......I caught this gill off the very same submerged cypress stump as the one in my profile picture........I'm a little more secretive with these spots but they are public.......I have the advantage of fishing this region year round and know the under water view just as good as the navigational picture.......it pays off year after year........

That's another nice one. You have been doing very well. It is supposed to be very warm all next week, I am going to try to get out at least a couple of days.............Don.
