I had been in Florida since 1999 and went back to Michigan last summer. I fished some of the lakes where i had fished as a boy and was amazed by how much the waters had cleared up. Also by how many zebra mussels there were in the inland lakes. They were on every surface under the water and some were just on the bottom. What a pain, hope the MDNR figures out some way to control them.

yes the perch now are eating them I do not think they grow well on them we had bigger perch when we still had a big smelt population in the lake.
