Very simple very effective, I'll bet.

no jim andy put up a pic of the trout magnet bodies ,i decided to try a few flies using some extended hollow bodies i have been making.i think they are sz 12 standard wet fly hooks.one has a brass bead the other an amber glass head

Jim...are those trout magnet heads? if so, what size?

still refining the technique carl, just making prototypes for now but am happy with the texture and i think these will survive dozens of gills.

you have a great idea on these Jim;;  i need to learn that trick!!

Awesome flies Jim. I remember many a day I'd be fishing and see gills swarm a bait but hesitant to bite so I'd change it out with a worm shaped bait and they would kill it there's just something about the shape of the bait maybe earthworm shaped they find them hard to resist. Great looking bait.

carl-these are more of these hollow body silcone things i have been messing with.the body has the texture of a wax worm .these are a made of rabbit hair from zonker strips and silicone aquarium caulk.
