i concentrate on simple and easy.i tie a jig do real good with in a bigger size and it catches everything.these are my first attempts at micro sizing.with the tungsten head they still got some weight to em.i want something for early spring when they move up to flats and timber riprap as they seek out warm water.a strip pause will mimic baby craws or other bugs coming out of the mud
Jim;; I use reading glasses -- and a magnifying lens when I tie my stuff!! good looking tie to!!
Wow, Jim...these look dynamite!
I do know the feeling.
i need new reading glasses dick.i almost went blind tying these today had to stop
i got some on ebay 4.50 for 40.they take the tung beads nicely.seem to have a wider gap too.i tie regular lead heads i think 1/48 or something sz 10 and 8s for my ultralight and they are awesome.they catch everything.caught my biggest bass last year on one gill fishing.also a 15+ grass carp trout rockbass and the crappies like em too.
I just looked up the hooks they go from 8 to 18 and $4.19 for 25 hooks at Allen Fly Fishing.
