They work David. What is so neat about these flies, they are easy to tie, so tying alot of different colors to match the bluegill's "wants" is simple. Browns and tans have really work well on heavy mayfly hatches.

Two of the flies are floaters Leo, while the Wooly Bugger is a sinker with a bead head and a few wraps of .015 lead in the middle of the body. Have found the Wooly Bugger tied in orange/brown works really well also. I added the legs for a little movement for the bluegills.

MAN THAT LOOKS LIKE GILL MEDICINE TO ME STEVE!!!!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO ASK if they will work up north cause I'm telling you it would be dynoamitttttttttttttttte !

WOW! This is part of my arsenal now. Is this pure floating or some sinking in it? I'm seeing all floating but I could be wrong.

These flies should work anywhere Rick. I use them to mimick mayflies. Tie them until you find the right one for you. That is the neat thing about this fly, you can tie any combination of colors you can think of. All you need is some 2MM closed cell foam, rubber legs and Z-lon for the tail and post. All colors of your imagination (and the fishes).

Good looking fly- wonder if it will work way up north? Bet it will and if you dont mind I think I will tie a few. What are you using for the wing and tail?. It looks super durable. Thhanks for sharing.
