9 3/4" - about 2 feet off the shore in a bed. Caught him 3 consecutive days by 3 different methods. lol

yeah Joseph, thanks! That fish had a missing back fin and was sitting on the same bed for a week or so. I was fishing for 10's, but keep wondering if I could get him again.

That is a 7ft - 3 weight rod - going even smaller would be fun. That combined with a float tube makes for a nice summer mornings. That's why I got into teaching. June, July, August and fish.

Gold bead hare's ear that day. Got him on a waxie and straight crawler the other two times. What isn't pictured is his back fin was half gone. Real warrior. Hopefully this year, he has grown a 1/4". Never landed a 10" bull. Only those long females.
