@ Dwayne Imagine the size of the CATFISH in there now!! WOW I bet the new record for Blue Catfish comes out of there!

@Andre: San V should be open in the next few years as the dam is pretty much done and towering over Lakeside at 337 feet high! Chimney Rock (best Bluegill spot) will be 177 feet under water and I would be very surprised if the island breaks the surface! Those big Bluegill are going to be MONSTERS!

@Dwayne, Morena hasn't been the same since the early 90's! Otay and Cuyamaca were my favorite lakes for bluegill growing up.  But I really cant wait until San Vicente re-opens!! I will fly out just for that!

@ Andre - Lake Murray is open from sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year. I went to Otay Lake this past weekend to see if the early bite started yet. Drifted in Harvey Arm for about 4 hours. Not one bite!!! Morena is extremely low right now. Not much of a Sutherland fan, although Crappie bite pretty good in the spring. Cuyamaca is one of my favorite lakes in the winter and fall!

Wow Lake Murray!  Memory lane headed down!! Not sure if they still have the old boat ramp or even if they allow you to fish the entire lake again?  But we use to clean up there!  And Murray has some huge Bass and Catfish in there?

Dwayne do you ever fish Otay, Suthernland, Morena or Cuyamaca?

I like to float tube the arm with the power lines, much less crowded over there.
