Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I fried up about half the gills I cleaned from Saturday, ther in some sweet corn hush puppies and fresh lemon wedge for squeezing on the fish…..ice cold ketchup and a glass of sweet tea….I’m in a great place…..

Thanks John…..I thank my family for teaching me so many cultural enjoyments when it comes to the outdoors…..my fathers rule was one meal a week would come from the land or sea…..I adopted a lot of my taste from those meals…..

Good deal Bruce…I tell everyone I eat grits for taste and oatmeal for health benefits……..

Looks great Jeffrey .For my taste I would use Hot sauce instead of Ketchup.

I eat grits, too. I like grits better than oat meal, but I eat both.

Speaking of breakfast, fish and grits are great…..understand grits are cultural but for my money….my youth camps we would fry catfish for breakfast not bacon….and a big pot of grits and butter would feed everyone….
